CMAJ Blogs launched just over a year ago and has seen a great first year of fantastic content.

It has been a combined effort on behalf of the Student Humanities Blog editors, the editors here at CMAJ, and a variety of amazing guest bloggers (patients and doctors alike) from around the world. After the first blog post, we published 288 more. Our Patients’ Blog was added soon after launch and it continues to be popular.

A total of almost 75,000 visitors landed here, and viewed over 100,000 pages. Most were from Canada (63%), but we also got visits from the US (15%) and the rest of the world (22%), with the UK, Ireland, Australia, France, and India as the leaders of the pack.
